Want to live and work in Canada?

Canada is welcoming people with skills to live and work there. One way to do this is through the Express Entry system. This system helps Canada choose skilled workers from around the world.

Express Entry System

The Express Entry system, launched in 2015 by the Canadian government, manages applications for three essential immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The system is designed to select skilled workers who can significantly contribute to the Canadian economy.

How It Works

The process begins with potential candidates creating an online Express Entry profile. This profile includes detailed information about your skills, work experience, language proficiency, education, and other personal details. Based on this information, you'll be given a score. The higher your score, the better your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.

Key Steps in the Express Entry System

  1. Check if you qualify: Ensure that you meet the criteria based on the eligible factors.
  2. Create an online profile: The profile must be up to date and accurate as it determines your score.
  3. Wait for an invitation: If your score is among the top-ranked in the pool, you may receive an ITA during one of the regular draws. Once you receive an ITA, you have 60 days to submit a complete application for Permanent Residence.
  4. Apply for permanent residence: You will need to provide various documents, such as proof of work experience, language test results, and police certificates. Once the application is approved, you will receive the Confirmation of Permanent Residence.

Can My Family Come With Me Under Express Entry?

This system is efficient and transparent. It allows the candidates to bring their families to Canada, offering them the same rights and benefits as other Canadian residents.
